Aligra Personnel, a leading recruitment agency based in Swindon, have thrown their support behind up and coming boxer Ryan Martin.
Martin has been tipped to emerge as the next big thing from the Swindon boxing fraternity, with the 20-year-old having emerged victorious in each of his two professional bouts so far.
Mark Neilson, owner of one of the area's largest recruiters and also formerly one of the countries most successful white collar boxing promoters told FLIC, "I've seen Ryan fight as an amateur and was really excited for him when I heard he was going pro. I'm delighted to be able to offer some financial support for him in this early stage of his career. He is without doubt, a great talent with a good team behind and I can see him going all of the way."
The former Walcot star boasted a glittering amateur career seeing him win 28 out of his 33 bouts and gaining a raft of National titles along the way. Now signed with local professional boxing promoter, Keith Mayo, the Horseshoe Gym based fighter defeated Jason Nesbitt on points in a classy debut performance in March, before wowing the Oasis Leisure Centre crowd on the KM Promotions' 'By Any Means Necessary' bill with a classy and emphatic fourth round knockout win against Jamie Ingleby.
Martin was due to take on the vastly experienced Faheem Khan on the Lee Haskins undercard in Bristol on December 5th 2014, but the highly-rated youngster was forced to pull out due to his troublesome hand injury flaring up again.
However, Martin has since returned to camp having sought treatment on his knuckle injury, and with the long-standing problem now healed, the welterweight is gearing up for his outing, which will be on KM Promotions' latest show on February 13th at the Oasis Leisure Centre.
Tickets for this show are priced at £35 standard and £60 VIP/Ringside, they can be purchased direct from Ryan: www.facebook.com/ryan.martin / 07983 630029, online atwww.kmpromotions.co.uk or on the door.
